Tell Met Council to appoint visionary leaders for transit!

Thanks to your advocacy and our leaders at the state capitol, we secured historic transportation investments this legislative session that have the potential to transform transit in our region. Instead of struggling with an annual budget deficit, Metro Transit will have hundreds of millions of dollars every year to invest in fast, frequent service that connects our communities and protects our climate. 

But money alone isn’t enough. We need strong, visionary leadership to make transformation happen. Right now, the Metropolitan Council is filling key positions — including the Metro Transit General Manager —  that will play a central role in making sure we meet this moment of opportunity with the level of urgency and innovation needed to meet the needs of our people and our climate.
