Tell Key Leaders to Restore Transit Funding and Protect Climate Progress in Final Transportation Bill!

Decisions made in coming days will determine whether the next state transportation bill continues to build a more sustainable and prosperous future for Minnesotans—or renews the dangerous trend of underfunding public transit and compromising our climate for generations to come.

This week, conference committees in the Minnesota House and Senate are negotiating on a final transportation bill, drawing from the measures passed by each chamber. Thanks to advocates like you, a significant number of lawmakers rejected attacks on transit and affirmed our state commitment to reducing climate pollution from transportation in recent floor votes. But we are still at risk of harmful provisions passing in the final bill.

Now, we need the conference committee members to craft a final bill that protects investments in transit, implements our Driving Down Emissions law on schedule, and removes outdated restrictions that lock up funding that could be used to increase biking, walking, rolling, and public transit in our communities.

Take action today to tell conference committee members to pass a bill that continues Minnesota’s leadership on transportation and climate!
