Take Action: Push Back on New Last-Minute Raid on Transit Funding at State Capitol

Minnesota lawmakers are expected to vote on the transportation bill in a special session tonight. But some state leaders are poised to push through a new last-minute raid on public transit funding in the bill, undermining the legislation previously agreed upon and presented to the public on Friday. Take action now to push back.

Today’s back-room deal will make it harder to improve and expand bus service in the metro region. It removes new dedicated resources for bus rapid transit from the bill while allowing millions in transit funding cuts to move forward as planned.
