Take Action: Fight for Transit, Biking & Walking in Minnesota’s Bonding Bill

With just a few weeks to go this legislative session, big transportation funding decisions are still on the line. Contact your legislators now. Tell them to fight for investments in transit, biking, walking, and rolling in these final weeks of session, including in the bonding bill.

Full funding for three new bus rapid transit lines is critical this year. Make sure your lawmakers are ready to speak up and make these projects a priority. The F Line, G Line, and H Line, will bring us frequent service and faster trips across the metro area. All disproportionately serve communities of color. These BRT lines should be funded ASAP so they can start benefitting people ASAP.

Throughout the metro and across the state, people are waiting for transit, biking, walking, and rolling infrastructure. We need a bonding bill that funds these urgent projects and moves them forward. From better bus service, to passenger rail connecting the Twin Cities and Duluth, to Safe Routes to School statewide.

We need transit that makes our lives and communities better. We need transit we can depend on. And that means we need our state leaders to be strong, vocal champions for transit funding. Tell them. Take action now.
